Use with video equipment for image signal (RCA Composite Video) only or combined with a RCA/Phono pair for image and audio.

Also can be used with an S/PDIF interface usually found on digital audio equipment. It allows the transfer of audio from one file to another without the conversion to and from an analogue format, which could degrade the signal quality.
