SVGA Cables are used to make a connection from PC's / Laptops to Monitors, LCD's, Projectors etc. SVGA / VGA connections are used on todays flat screen TV's and are refferred to as PC input. SVGA Cables are backwards compatible with the previous VGA but offer a higher resolution (800x600). Male to female can be used to extend existing installations and can be used with VGA/ KVM switches, couplers etc.
