For example you can conveniently switch between your sources such as game consoles, DVD or Blu-ray players to display or your connected TV/ Monitor etc.  Avoids the hassle of reconnecting cables and laying an additional, second HDMI™ cable to the display. Outputs in full 4k resolutions (4k @ 60Hz)
