SVGA Cables

SVGA Cables are suitable for most displays however a growing number of monitors require DDC Display Data Channel compatibility, DDC requires all 15 pins on a VGA to be wired to enable the monitor and graphics card to communicate. Traditionally all 15 pins were not required or used so in some cases manufacturers would only fit the 14 pins to a VGA plug (Hence the reason most VGA's have 14 pins fitted). Using a standard 14 pin VGA on a DDC display will cause a blank screen. So generally if this symptom is occurring with your set up then it's probably because your installation requires a DDC compatible (Fully Wired) VGA lead. We supply both Fully wired VGA cables and 14 pin cables in various lengths.
