features 4x banana sockets for connection of 4mm banana plugs, banana plugs are used to connect speaker cable to audio systems and speakers and are generally considered to provide a more secure connection, These quality speaker wall plates provide an alternative yet simpler solution for connection of speaker cable, The speaker cable can be attached to the reverse of plate via the screw terminals which require no soldering, The banana sockets are 24k gold plated to ensure optimum performance.  Plates are suitable for electrical back boxes with a 25mm or 37mm depth.
