  1m quality Optical audio cable with heavy duty metal shells and gold plated contacts for corrosion resistance, Fitted with Toslink plugs (standard plugs for optical cables) and 6mm diameter thicker cable with flexible outer jacket, the larger diameter cable provides improved resistance against optical fibre damage which in turn may lead to audio signal drop out. Optical cables transmit the audio signal via pulses of light, suitable for digital audio signal SPDIF / compressed 5.1/7.1 surround sound or lossless PCM audio.
