DVI (Digital Video interface) is used for connecting between computer graphics cards / on-board graphics and monitors, It is also used on a wide range of HD TV's enabling connection between computers and Flat large screen TV.  DVi is capable of transferring uncompressed digital High definition video signal.

DVI has 3 formats DVI-A (analogue), DVI-D (Digita), DVI-I (Digital/Analogue). All 3 formats are available in single or dual link, Dual format DVI has an increased speed and signal quality over single link.
